Netcipia.net is currently in maintenance mode due to unexpected expiration of the netcipia.net domain name following a billing process error. Everything has been corrected, but DNS takes a few time to be updated.
Your places will be available again in the next hours, don't worry...
Stay tuned on netcipia.com's blog, we'll inform you as soon as possible.

For our french users, let know that a very interesting white paper has been launched (in french) about ageing workforces and
ICT. This white paper has been written collaboratively using Netcipia,
and it's available publicly only through Netcipia. It is accessible at
http://livreblanc.netcipia.net.
Ageing workforces and labour market is a huge study for the next years in our countries, and this white paper is collecting the results of 2 years of work done inside the eSangathan indo- european project. Read more at
http://www.esangathan.eu.
Kimind Consulting (formerly Netcipia UK) was a member of the consortium, and
Netcipia places have been used intensively.
We have launched few days ago a new feedback zone, the previous one wasn't sufficiently powerful. This feedback zone is using
uservoice.com infrastructure. It is accessible at
http://feedback.netcipia.com.

Today in Zurich we were sponsoring and intervening during the
Swiss Knowledge Management Forum dedicated to the Web 2.0 and Social Software. I gave a lecture about how the web 2.0 will affect the Enterprise, what we call the Enterprise 2.0, and i've presented to the audience the concept of expertise monetization launched by Netcipia. All the consultants have been really interested, because they have seen very clearly a new opportunity to create a new business channel with their customers.

Miguel Membrado, co-founder & CTO of Netcipia, was interviewed few weeks ago by
HyveUP: "
How to retail your expertise online", about the new monetization platform:
HyveUp is interviewing a lot of founders & CEOs of the Silicon Valley, don't miss
their blog, it's really interesting.
Thanks guys :-)

NETCIPIA ANNOUNCES ITS "ONLINE EXPERTISE MONETIZATION PLATFORM" (OEMP)
San Francisco, March 31 2008
Netcipia, a Web 2.0 company founded in 2006 by Bruno de Beauregard and Miguel Membrado (former co-founders of Mayetic) in Palo Alto,
has launched the new version of its free online participative platform.
This new version boasts advanced wiki-type functionalities that place
Netcipia amongst the 10 top wiki platforms worldwide in terms of features and ergonomics.
Better yet! The first Web 2.0 service to offer both free and unlimited wikis and blogs within a single interface,
Netcipia innovates again by enabling its users to charge for the online content they provide.
Netcipia place owners can charge for their content by offering:
- Weekly, monthly or yearly subscriptions giving access to the entire Netcipia Place.
- Fee-based access to specific pages within the Place.
- Time-limited access to the Place.
Whereas historically, advertisement has been the only way for users to earn some income for the content they provide,
Netcipia now enables every professional or expert-amateur to use the power of Web 2.0 to build, expand and manage participative communities as well as charge for valuable content. In exchange for this service, there are not fixed costs: Netcipia will only charge a percentage for every transaction
.
Consultants, teachers, gardeners, architects have already begun using their Netcipia participative communities as a lucrative business tool, using one or several of the three payment models available.
However, Netcipia can still be used free of charge to create one or several wiki/blog communities.
Netcipia therefore offers a Win/Win proposition: Users can benefit from the Netcipia platform free-of charge to build their community and offer their content worldwide, until they are able to generate some income by monetizing their content through the use of the Netcipia OEMP.
